The purpose of the Spartan Boosters Club is to raise and distribute money for La Canada High and Junior High School athletic teams, academic departments and extra-curricular activities not funded through the school’s annual budget. Our mission is even more critical in these challenging economic times for our schools.
About Us
• We work closely with the school administration to provide our students with supplies, equipment, uniforms, tournament fees and other items and services.
• Approximately 40% of the funds we raise are distributed to non-athletic programs.
• Boosters have paid for all Athletic Uniforms since Boosters was created in 1971.
• During the 2009-2010 school year, we distributed funds to 74 7th-12th grade programs that might not otherwise have been adequately funded through the annual school budget.
• We actively support our students by our attendance at concerts, plays, athletic events and other school-related functions.
• We recognize our student’s achievements through congratulatory letters, senior awards and scholarships.
• All donations are fully tax refundable.
Fundraising Efforts
• Boosters Club Memberships
• Annual Grand Auction/ Dinner Dance (November 6, 2010)
• Annual Golf Tournament (May 2, 2011)
• Football Program sales
• Major Donor Solicitation
Any level of membership participation from you would be greatly appreciated and help us in our efforts to continue to enhance our children’s experience at LCHS.
